PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP
Gain a detailed understanding of organisational management and its relationship to successful project planning – an understanding that is vital to many careers. Similarly, leadership skills are in great demand amongst employers.
On successful completion of the module, you will be able to:
• Examine the project life cycle and appraise alternative approaches to project management.
• Outline how effective planning, management and implementation help a project to run smoothly.
• Analyse the current project management practices and leadership styles in a company, and recommend ways to improve these practices.
• Assess the criteria for measuring project success and examine the effect leadership can have on this.
• Apply the appropriate tools, approaches and methods to project planning, monitoring, control, evaluation and risk management of a given project.
CARBON MANAGEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This module will give you an understanding of the national and international issues surrounding carbon management. You will focus on carbon management strategies and systems, developing the ability to measure and value positive and negative carbon footprints.
