This degree gives you the opportunity to make a future for yourself in the rapidly growing, forward-thinking sustainability sector. It will teach you the principles of carbon management and will highlight issues surrounding this discipline: at a local, national and international level. You will also study project management and leadership, which will help you to implement carbon management policies and overcome any resistance.

This programme has been designed by London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) and is validated and awarded by the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO.

Requisitos

• UK undergraduate degree or equivalent – any subject area
• English levels 5.5 IELTS (5.5 in all bands) or equivalent
• Relevant work experience is an asset, but no work experience is required
• Students who fail to meet academic requirements can be assessed on their relevant work experience (2 years management experience minimum for mature study route)

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP
Gain a detailed understanding of organisational management and its relationship to successful project planning – an understanding that is vital to many careers. Similarly, leadership skills are in great demand amongst employers.

On successful completion of the module, you will be able to:
• Examine the project life cycle and appraise alternative approaches to project management.
• Outline how effective planning, management and implementation help a project to run smoothly.
• Analyse the current project management practices and leadership styles in a company, and recommend ways to improve these practices.
• Assess the criteria for measuring project success and examine the effect leadership can have on this.
• Apply the appropriate tools, approaches and methods to project planning, monitoring, control, evaluation and risk management of a given project.


CARBON MANAGEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This module will give you an understanding of the national and international issues surrounding carbon management. You will focus on carbon management strategies and systems, developing the ability to measure and value positive and negative carbon footprints.

On successful completion of the module, you will be able to:
• Understand the drivers for carbon management, emissions targets and reporting requirements at an international and national level.
• Identify what is required to achieve a robust and successful carbon management strategy and define carbon footprinting.
