Adult nursing is a rewarding and challenging career, where you can make a positive difference to people’s lives. Adult nurses care for adult patients suffering from a wide range of acute or long-term illnesses. An adult nurse should be caring, determined and have exceptional communication skills. This Adult Health Nursing Degree course prepares you for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Our nursing programmes give you lots of opportunities to practise in our skills laboratories so you can build your confidence and try out new techniques, whilst our interprofessional learning programme gives you the opportunity to learn alongside other health profession students at UEA.
The course uses a blended learning approach which involves lectures, seminars, student-led learning, simulated practice and Enquiry Based Learning (EBL). A majority of the learning will take place in small tutorial groups, exploring different real life nursing scenarios in packages of learning.
