The BA American Studies degree programme is an interdisciplinary course, enabling you to study American history and literature, as well as giving you the opportunity to study politics and film. The programme invites you to engage with diverse forms of cultural expression, including novels, poetry, photographs, paintings, historical and political documents, classic texts, bestsellers, and movies.
The part-time variant of this degree programme allows you to undertake an undergraduate degree over a period of 5-7 years. This gives you a more flexible approach to learning, allowing you to continue with your outside commitments, such as employment, whilst completing your studies over a longer period of time. All applications are assessed on their own individual merits, in the same way as applications for full-time degree programmes.
