Business IT is very well established at Bournemouth, with a good variety of units available for those who wish to broaden their study. This course is one of our longest traditions, and we have produced many very successful graduates - including millionaires, though we don´t promise that for everyone! It provides a good, rounded set of abilities that enable our graduates to work in a wide set of areas of business and IT.
The course will appeal to those applicants who are interested in a technology-based computing course, but who wish to combine that with study of relevant aspects of business. Our focus on business process picks out the area of business where the greatest use of IT is found. The course emphasises the importance of personal development and group working, as modern IT requires good ´people skills´ and is strongly team-based.
The entry requirements for this course are 104 to 120 tariff points, including 3 A-Levels, or equivalent qualifications. BTEC Extended Diploma DMM.
