Computer graphics is one of the fastest growing areas of computing today, and our course enables you to gain a thorough understanding of contemporary topics and advances at the frontier of computer gaming. This course combines the study of computing science with specialist topics in computer graphics, initially covering two and three dimensional graphics fundamentals and then continuing to develop your skills and knowledge.
This four-year degree allows significantly greater depth of study than in the three-year degree programme. The first two years follow a similar structure to the BSc Computing Graphics, as you study a range of computing subjects. However you will undertake advanced modules in your third and final years, carrying out both individual and group projects, and study specialised subjects at both undergraduate and Master´s levels that relate to your interests and career aspirations.
In the final two years you will have the opportunity to conduct an extended, independent research project in computer graphics, on a topic of your own choice.
