Creative Computing is an innovative new course designed to equip you with the digital skills and creative thinking tools you need to succeed in industry. Whether you are an imaginative individual who wishes to harness computer programming as a tool for artistic, social or cultural change, or an enterprising person who seeks a more diverse technical skill set, Creative Computing can help you develop specific expertise that are in high demand across the digital sector today. You can study Creative Computing as a single honours degree programme with specialist pathway options in gaming, animation or software development, or combine Creative Computing (minor, major, joint) with a number of complimentary subjects that are available at Bath Spa University.
As a Creative Computing student, you’ll need to be inventive, have a drive to pursue big ideas, and be ready to be immersed in real-world scenarios from the get-go. You will create continually, working both individually and in collaboration to test ideas and prototype artefacts across a range of digital platforms.
