All our Law degrees are Qualifying Law Degrees and they satisfy the legal professions as providing the academic stage of legal training enabling you to proceed on to the Legal Practice Course or Bar Vocation Course to become a Solicitor or Barrister
Our courses are accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Joint Academic Stage Board (JASB)
A 40-week placement year in commerce or industry enables you to gain valuable work experience, which will differentiate you from other graduates. Your placement year can also count towards the time you spend as a trainee Solicitor

Our Law degrees give you the option to specialise in a specific area of law, such as business, entertainment or taxation, each of which can lead to challenging and exciting career opportunities


The entry requirements for this course are 120 tariff points, with 80 from two A-Levels or equivalent, with remaining 40 points from other A/AS-Levels or equivalent qualifications. BTEC Extended Diploma:

If English is not your first language, you will need to provide evidence that you can understand English to a satisfactory level. English language requirements for this course are normally:

IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component, or equivalent.

Year 3
You will complete a 40-week placement which can be carried out anywhere in the world. The placement year offers a chance to gain experience of legal practice and make contacts for the future. If your placement meets the necessary criteria it can count towards 20 weeks of your training contract after graduation.
