Presentación

To succeed in the exciting, vibrant and growing arena of events management, a cross-section of skills and competencies is required in the field. This course will help you to acquire them, helping you to become a professional practitioner capable of overseeing the organisation of events as diverse as product launches, fundraising, corporate meetings, personal gatherings (such as weddings and reunions) and mega-events such as the Olympic Games.

To become a successful events manager, you will need skills in areas such as marketing for events, financial reporting, project planning, event bidding and consumer behaviour – all of which are offered by this exciting degree. As well as academic learning, you’ll have the opportunity to organise a live event with a real client as part of a group.

Events Management is a modern, fast moving profession which demands a lot of hard work and dynamism and offers tremendous variety and career satisfaction.

Requisitos

The entry requirements for this course are 112 to 120 tariff points, including 2 A-Levels or equivalent qualifications. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

If English is not your first language, you will need to provide evidence that you can understand English to a satisfactory level. English language requirements for this course are normally:

IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component, or equivalent.
