This course will help you to acquire them, helping you to become a professional practitioner capable of overseeing the organisation of events as diverse as product launches, fundraising, corporate meetings, personal gatherings (such as weddings and reunions) and mega-events such as the Olympic Games.
To become a successful events manager, you will need skills in areas such as marketing for events, financial reporting, project planning, event bidding and consumer behaviour – all of which are offered by this exciting degree. As well as academic learning, you’ll have the opportunity to organise a live event with a real client as part of a group.
