Requisitos

Foundation degree or subject-related HND or equivalent in Business Management, Accounting, Project Management, Global Management or International Management. We also accept a Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship in a relevant subject area.

If English is not your first language you´ll need IELTS 6.0 (Academic),with minimum 5.5 in each component, or equivalent.

Programa

Global Strategy: This unit will encourage you to develop the intellectual and professional attributes needed for strategic analysis, to make appropriate choices between alternative strategies, and then to implement the chosen strategies with the desired results. The unit aims to provide you with a critical understanding of the tools and frameworks available for analysing strategic management issues at both national and global levels.

The Global Manager: Drawing on elements of international HRM and cross-cultural management, this unit is designed to develop a critical awareness of the challenges of working and managing in a global context. The unit aims to develop your understanding of global management policies, practices and processes, as utilised by multinational and transnational organisations in the context of a dynamic, globalised world.

Global Marketing: You will develop the ability to critically theoretical frameworks both for the analysis of global marketing environments and for the development of marketing programmes within them, and apply analytical skills to explore the issues arising from different global market situations.

Business Leadership: This unit will explore leadership theories and followership concepts. It considers the nature of leadership, leadership versus management, power, politics and conflict, and various traditional and contemporary models and perspectives of leadership.

Managing Sustainable Innovation for Global Enterprises: The aim of the unit is to provide students with the opportunity to develop skills in managing and sustaining different contexts of innovation in the global environment. Innovation comes in four major contexts: operational innovation, product innovation, strategy innovation, and management innovation. Understanding how to manage these different contexts of innovation is an important step to become effective managers or entrepreneurs in today’s global enterprises.

Global Supply Chain Management: Supply chain management is the fastest growing area of business today, and is at the core of success of most leading companies. Many companies serve multiple global markets with products sourced and produced across many continents.
The primary aim of the unit is to develop a strategic understanding of global supply chain management through planning, sourcing, making, delivering and returning products and services to global businesses and their customers and achieve competitive advantages for the firm.

Digital Marketing & Communications: You will develop a critical view on the impact of emerging digital technologies and social media on marketing communication theories. You will be equipped with practical and analytical skills in designing, implementing and evaluating digital communications strategies and campaigns.

Strategic Human Resource Management: The purpose of the unit is to provide knowledge and understanding of the strategic role of human resource management in organisations and provide a platform for the critical evaluation of that role. The unit will examine strategic HRM models, the relationship between HRM and organisational performance as well as consider a wide range of HRM practices including but not limited to: employee resourcing, employee development, employee relations and reward management, performance management, participation and involvement, and redundancy.

Entrepreneurship in the Global Environment: This unit will explore how to be effective entrepreneurs by looking at global business case studies and personal skills needed to start a business and the critical factors in the survival of start-ups and reasons for failure.
