BA (Hons) Business Studies is our longest running course. The Business Studies degree is an exciting and innovative course which allows you to specialise in a specific business area, inlcuding international studies.
The first year of the course introduces you to the core functions and disciplines of Business and Management, after which you follow a ´pathway´ of your choice. The structure of the course is very flexible, even allowing you to change specialism at the end of the second year if you wish.
The specialist pathway BA (Hons) International Business Studies aims to provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills, which will enable you to conduct yourself professionally and credibly in an international working environment.
You will develop cultural sensitivity, as well as a critical understanding of the challenges of working and managing internationally. The entry requirements for this course are 120 tariff points, with 80 from two A-Levels or equivalent, with remaining 40 points from other A/AS-Levels or equivalent qualifications. BTEC Extended Diploma:

You will ´hit the ground running´ from year one onwards, when you will begin to develop the versatility and personal qualities needed to manage a range of business activities in a global context, as well as an awareness of the wider impact of business decisions on organisational stakeholders and society. In addition, through tasks including simulated business projects, you will develop highly sought after skills including communication, presentation, team work and time management.
