The BSc Management will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills that are highly valued by contemporary firms. The course focuses on the variety of contexts within which businesses operate, and how they can be effectively managed. You will be introduced to the tools and techniques of management, discovering how business information is critically analysed and decisions are made in a complex environment.
Many different kinds of organisations will be taken into account, both in the private and public sectors, profit and non-profit making. You will examine organisations of different sizes and forms, ranging from small and medium sized enterprises to those that are large, complex, and globally focused.
The BSc Business Management encourages the development of transferable skills that are highly relevant to business and management careers. This includes improved self-awareness and personal development appropriate to graduate careers in business, alongside a potential for management positions.
