Medical Biochemistry is the study of how cells work at the molecular and sub-molecular levels and has been described as the basis of modern medicine. Medical biochemists develop new ideas and products that are applied to the biggest health challenges we face today.
A typical offer is BBB - ABB at A-Level [or equivalent for other qualifications: 300 – 320 UCAS tariff points].
You must have good grades in Chemistry and Biology.
Students studying for BTEC qualifications would require a minimum grade B at A-Level in both Biology and Chemistry plus a Distinction (D) in a relevant BTEC Subsidiary Diploma (6 units).
IB: 32 - 33 (including good HL grades in Chemistry and Biology).
