This course has got a strong focus on getting you a job and will genuinely prepare you for the real world of the motorsport industry. You´re expected to take an active role in project work, whether it´s designing supercharger applications or building your own telemetry equipment. We´ve got a great range of vehicles and systems available for you to study, ranging from racing motorcycles to dragsters.
The key elements of the course which you have to study include Advanced Power Train Engineering, Motorsport Chassis Design and Dynamics and a variety of applied modules. There are lots of events for you to get real life experience at, including scrutineering and marshalling training, exhibitions and race meetings. The Le Mans 24-hour race has also been on our social calendar for the last six years.
Our course is supported by the industry, with guest lectures from companies such as Silkolene, PI Systems, Ricardo PLC and Dynojet being a regular feature so you know you´ll be completely up to date with what´s going on in the world of motorsport.
