Each year of the nursing degree lasts 42 weeks. Supervised practice placements are an integral part of this 50% theory and 50% practice course.

This means you will study in a 10-week block in University (theory) followed by an eight-week block in clinical practice. This will roughly follow the same format throughout your three years.

The clinical placements take place in our local health boards which are: Cwm Taf, Abertawe Bro Morgannwg and Aneurin Bevan. Please note that holidays are fixed and non-negotiable for the duration of the course.
