Presentación

Computer software engineers use the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test and evaluate the complex software that large computer systems need to perform their many applications.

Your studies will cover this major area of professional computing, paying particular attention to the design, production and maintenance of computer software.

This course has a strong practical emphasis and uses current software engineering techniques and tools to give you a solid grounding in this field. It’s also accredited by the British Computer Society and gives full exemption from their examination requirements. Completion of your degree will also contribute to CEng accreditation with the Engineering Council.

Major information systems need large teams of professionals, especially in the design and implementation stages. Most computer software engineers work in computer systems design and related services.
