Presentación

This degree is offered as a top-up for those students with a Foundation Degree in Travel and Tourism. Applicants would enter at Year 3 (Credit Level 6) of an undergraduate degree. It provides the opportunity to focus on key aspects of the industry such as aviation, events and sustainable tourism, as well as offering the chance to investigate contemporary tourism issues.

Requisitos

You should have completed a Foundation Degree in travel and tourism, including a research methods course. Normally this will be taken at our associate colleges but students from other foundation programmes may be considered where they can show that they have undertaken a research methods module and have developed a viable dissertation proposal.

Core subjects of study include:

Conference and Events Planning
Individual Project (Dissertation)
Sustainable Tourism in the Developing World
The Airline Business
Tourism in Society
Students are also required to take three additional options. Subjects of study include Managing Airports, Personal Development for Work, and Urban Tourism.
