Presentación

Health Foundations is an academic pathway program. It will benefit you if you are an English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) student who wishes to obtain a post-secondary education in college-level health programs in which English fluency (reading, writing, listening and speaking) is a professional requirement for safe practice.

Communication is the cornerstone to any health practice. As such, this School of Community and Health Studies program will focus on enhancing your communication skills necessary for the development of professional relationships within the workplace. As you refine your English language skills, you will also learn the health terminology used within Canadian healthcare settings as well as key health concepts.

The Health Foundations program will enable you to continue into the professional health program of your choice within the School of Community and Health Studies, with all admission requirements met.
