Forensic archaeology is an expanding field internationally as skilled archaeologists and anthropologists are deployed on human rights investigations. Our graduates are employed by the UN, ICTY, by the ICMP, CIFA, Inforce and other organisations.
Graduates and staff work in Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo, France, East Timor, DR Congo, Guatemala, Colombia, Cyprus, Libya and Iraq examining crime scenes, mass graves and disasters and are acknowledged as some of the most experienced forensic archaeologists in the field.
Many graduates join UK, US and Canadian police forces, medical examiners, or academia. Students from Australasia, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Central and South America are undertaking the course to bring new forensic science approaches to their respective countries.
