Presentación

The LLM in Intellectual Property Law is a specialist course which will develop your understanding of the nature of international property law and regulation.

This specialist Masters course reflects on the growing importance of intellectual property law to the global economy, and delves into issues of debate on contemporary areas of intellectual property law. You will develop the skills needed to deal with the legal rules relating to intellectual property law and practice, and the ability to analyse and critique those rules in a practical and academic context. In addition, you will develop the skills needed to use a range of legal and policy documents, including primary and secondary sources from the European Union, United Kingdom and other legal jurisdictions.

You will become proficient in the research skills necessary for participation in a project or other professional task requiring the deployment of knowledge, comprehension, application, evaluation, analysis and synthesis in this relevant area of law.

Requisitos

Licenciado/Título de Ingeniero/Título de Arquitecto with an average of 6.0-6.9, Aprobado or above

English language qualifications:

GCSE pass in English at Grade C or above
IELTS with an average overall score 6.5 with at least a 5.5 in each component
TOEFL IBT minimum score 88
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): exams taken from January 2015 – overall score of 176 with at least 162 in each component; exams taken before January 2015 – Grade C and no less than borderline in each skill
Trinity College English Language qualifications: ISE III Pass for postgraduate taught courses and research applications
City and Guild’s IESOL/ISESOL tests at expert and mastery levels (C2 and C1) for the majority of postgraduate programmes
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with a minimum of 67 points in each elemen
