Presentación

From understanding the origins of the Universe to avoiding antibiotic resistance or mitigating climate change, some of the World’s most pressing societal problems increasingly demand an interdisciplinary scientific approach. Our impressive 19th century mansion house, Keele Hall, is a dedicated hub for interdisciplinary discussion, debate and learning.

The Natural Sciences degree programme at Keele provides you with exciting opportunities to draw on the expertise of scientists in the fields of Biosciences, Maths, Forensic Science, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Earth Science and Physical Geography, and to design a degree programme which is tailored to your personal interests. We offer training and experience in a variety of field, laboratory, analytical, presentational, writing and research skills, providing an excellent platform for a broad range of careers. Our approachable and inspiring staff have leading research reputations in their fields, and a strong commitment to creative and dynamic high quality, research-led teaching and learning.

•Research Skills for Natural Scientists

Third year:
•Grand Challenges in Society
•Natural Sciences Research Project

You will then select two science subjects as core, plus one subject as a supporting science in the first and second year. In the third year, you will choose option modules, subject to pre-requisites, from the range available within your chosen core science subjects.
