Offered at Centennial College’s Ashtonbee Campus, this Early Childhood Education program is highly respected in the field.
The student-centred program will provide you with opportunities to learn the skills to create and enrich learning environments for infants, toddlers, preschool and school-aged children.
An important part of your learning will occur at two Centennial College-operated lab settings, located in East York and at Progress Campus. These opportunities will allow you to experience and understand what high quality childcare is about. They will also serve as field placement experiences.
The first priority of Centennial College Early Childhood-educated learners will be to provide high standards of quality care to children and their families. As such, once you complete this School of Community and Health Studies program, you will have the know-how to observe the needs and interests of individual and groups of children to create a safe and stimulating environment suited to each child’s needs.
