The Electronics Engineering Technician program will prepare you for a challenging career in the electronics field.
Through an optimum balance between hands-on experience and theory, this School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science program will cover areas such as such as wireless communications, data communications, microcontrollers and industrial systems. In labs, to develop a solid foundation in modern electronics, you will work with computers, communication transceivers and electronics testing and measurement equipment.
Two years in length, Electronics Engineering Technician will also give you the option to continue your studies by transferring into the fifth semester for the Technologist version of the offering. In order to do so, you must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)
English Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent (minimum grade required)
