    Presentación

    This program will prepare students for an exciting career as a skilled professional in the heavy duty equipment field, one of the economy’s largest industries. The theoretical knowledge learned in this program combined with the hands-on experience gained in our state of the art labs will give students an ideal start to a fulfilling career in the heavy duty equipment field. Students focus on applied mechanics, vehicle dynamics as well as component design and repair. Courses include Advanced Electrical/Electronics, Alternative and Emerging Fuels, Logistics, and Hoisting and Rigging which are exclusive to Centennial College. Additionally, courses in Business, English and General Education are incorporated.

    Upon completion, graduates will be able to seek employment in many different areas of the heavy duty industry, such as, an apprentice in a repair facility, administrative/managerial roles and parts departments/suppliers.

    Requisitos

    Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or mature student status (19 years or older)
    English Grade 12 C or U or equivalent
    Mathematics Grade 11 M or U or 12 C or U or equivalent
