The Technology Foundations (ABES) program will provide an educational pathway if you are interested in pursuing a career in the school’s technical programs.

You will develop a thorough understanding of the personal, academic and professional requirements (communication, mathematical, technical, computer and science skills) that will prepare you to enter a specific diploma and advanced diploma program in the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science.

Completion of this Technology Foundations (ABES) certificate can help you to meet the academic requirements. It may also provide you with exemptions for certain courses in some programs, depending upon the grade level achieved.

The undertaking will benefit you if you, for whatever reason, do not meet the regular entrance requirements for the school’s programs. This unique offering is a great opportunity for you to gain the necessary skills to succeed in a post-secondary environment.
