Centennial College’s Business – Marketing program will prepare you to be the essential link between an organization and its customer base.
The offering, which is facilitated through the School of Business, will first take you through business basics such as accounting, organizational behavior, business software, customer service and international business. These topics will create a foundation for the marketing courses that follow.
Marketing topics will include:
Marketing theory and case-based problem-solving
Marketing communications (which includes advertising and promotion)
Sales and service
The Business - Marketing program will make use of case studies, computer simulations, lectures, classroom assignments and presentations to help you develop the creative decision-making and persuasive communication skills necessary to become a successful marketing professional.
You will have the opportunity to participate in nation and province-wide academic competitions, such as the Ontario Colleges Marketing (OCMC), BDC and CMA competitions.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)
