Whether you’re a beginner or your art skills go well beyond the ability to draw stick figures, the Art and Design Foundation Studies program at Centennial College’ Story Arts Centre will help you nurture your artistic talents and develop creative and practical skills.
The studio-based, visual art offering is facilitated by the School of Communications, Media and Design. The goal of the program is to help you to build a successful portfolio of artwork tailored to specialized programs and to open up new possibilities and career choices.
In this program you will:
Get hands-on exposure to a wide range of topics, from life drawing and design to digital illustration and rapid prototyping;
Develop skills in drawing, design, painting and spatial dynamics in both traditional and digital media;
Build a comprehensive portfolio of artwork while working one–on-one with the faculty
