Centennial College’s Biomedical Engineering Technology program has been designed to meet the need for qualified professionals that has resulted from the merger between the biomedical equipment industry, and engineering and scientific disciplines.

These collaborations have created innovations beneficial to both the healthcare system and society that require the industry to meet the challenge of providing a range of quality products.

Providing an optimum balance between theory and hands-on labs, this Biomedical Engineering Technology program will cover various principles in the design of medical equipment, rehabilitation and health improvement devices, including:

Gaining technical problem solving skills, you will be prepared for a challenging career in which artificial organs, prostheses and medical instruments wouldn’t exist without biomedical engineering.

Requisitos

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)
English Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent (minimum grade required) or take the Centennial College English Skills Assessment for Admission
Mathematics Grade 11 M or U, or 12 C or U, or equivalent (minimum grade required) or take a Centennial College Engineering Math Skills Assessment for Admission
